MDM Productions L.L.P. was founded in February 2004 by John A. Murphy, Duane P. Pierre and Matthew D. Thibodeau. MDM Productions is commited to producing quality audio and video products. John A. Murphy:

Experience:
John has been involved with Television production for seven years. The beginning of his career was involved work with the Public Access department at Cox Communications doing camera work for Public Meetings that were televised live in the community. He also worked on several locally produced television shows, including The Long and The Short of It (1997-1998).

John attended college at Wilkes University to study Engineering and held a minor in telecommunications, while attending he was very active with the University’s television station. John primarily did work as both a Field and Studio Camera operator as well as an editor for several Campus productions. These productions were broadcast within the local community; these shows included Wilkes Today (1998-2002) a weekly campus news television magazine and The Colonels Edge (1998-2001) a weekly in depth sports show.

Also while attending Wilkes University, John helped in the producition of the live broadcast of the Wilkes Universities Men’s and Women’s basketball games (1998-2000), as well as several documentaries, one of these documentaries (Casting to Curtain 2002) was solely shot and produced.
In the course of his studies John also took courses in Audio Production. He worked at the College radio station as an On-Air personality for a short period of time and produced a series of public service announcements for the Wyoming Valley Chapter of the Red Cross to be aired on the radio.

Duane P. Pierre:

Experience:
Duane has been involved in various productions aspects since 1990, when he started interning at Unique Studios in Brooklyn, NY. From 1995-1999 he was the General Manager of 107.7fm WFCS at Central Connecticut State University; and in 1997 and 1998 he worked as a board operator for ESPN radio, before leaving to pursue widening his experience.

In addition to audio production, Duane was a freelance videographer and a media consultant for several years before eventually going to work for Public Access at Cox Communications in their Cheshire, CT studios in 2000. His work at Cox has allowed him to continue his production work with indie production houses and independent film productions. A current archive of his production work includes 2 independent films, a documentary series entitled Faces, and a regional talk show hosted by Connecticut Lt. Govenor Lt. M. Jodi Rell.

In an effort to stay abreast of emerging media forms, Duane began experimenting with web streaming and web based languages and applications. He is well versed in Marcomedia applications and is currently the webmaster for Cox Communitcation’s patv15.com

Internet-based applications/languages, including HTML, Java Script, FrontPage, Dreamweaver MX, and Flash MX 2004.



Matthew D. Thibodeau:

Experience:
Matthew has been involved in video productions since 1993, when he started volunteering at a local public access station in Manchester, CT. From 1996-1998 he was the producer of a local political show "The Long and The Short of It" (South Windsor, CT).

Matthew eventually went on to work for Public Access at Cox Communications in their Enfield, CT and Cheshire, CT studios. While in the Enfield, CT studio; Matthew was a driving force behind creating more modern state-of-the-art studio and edit facilities as well as a working modern mobile studio. While in the Cheshire, CT studio Matthew helped create a state-of-the-art Media 100 non-linear edit suite. Matthew has produced alot of concert material including live concerts given by The Wailers Band (The former band of Bob Marley), Virna Langford (Springfield, MA), Loose Caboose (Amherst, MA); along with other live performances. From 1999-2002 Matthew worked in Caboose 2 Zion studios in Whately, MA doing audio recording and audio mixing; both linear and non-linear.

Matthew has also been involved with documentary productions done at The Wadsworth Atheneum (Hartford, CT) and The Huntington House (Scotland, CT)

More recently, Matthew was a host of "Carribean Rhythms"; a radio show which aired on WFPR 105.3FM (Franklin Pierce College) in Rindge, NH.
